Some of the club members think they have what it takes to become the next Dani Pedrosa, so with the help of the southern area organiser, Megawatt, their bluff was called.

The trackday was a later afternoon / early evening feature, and for once someone up above took pity on us poor mortals and it stayed fine, which given the summer of 2008 is a small miracle in itself. Not only did we have the trackdayers themselves, but such is the friendly nature of this club we had a number of other club members turn up to give vocal support (and occasional jibes) at our antics.

The riders were all subjected to a riders briefing first in a swelteringly hot room full of folks in sweaty motorcycle leathers - nice! Once released from that torture we had a 'sighting lap' session following an instructor to learn the lines, and then 3 x 20 minute 'free for all' sessions on the track. The CBRF members enjoyed themselves and it was another great event organised by the club. Special thanks to Megawatt who organised everything down to the last detail to make sure it was another great CBRF event.

Here are just a few of the best photo's of the day, with 'on-board' video footage to follow from several of the bikes. Bigger pictures will eventually be behind the thumbnails.
