A report by CBR Fireblader's eastern area organiser, rb900r. Click images for the bigger pictures.

Beck , Ellie and I braved the elements on Saturday and went to the NEC (not on our bikes) there we met Fingolfin and his Uncle and hit the Show , with James Toseland's band 'Crash' as background music our first stop was the Honda stand .

Although there isn't a new model Blade for 09 there is the usual second year new colours on offer .

Its a well known fact I'm not a fan of the 08 mostly for its looks but I do admit it the new HRC colours do help the overall looks a lot and are a much better in the flesh than a photo.

Circling on a carousel with Pedrobots Aprillia RS 250 sized GP bike made it look huge the Black and Grey isn't a lot different to the all Black 08, but the Repsol colours suit the shape of the 08 and I think will be a good seller for 09.
As an owner Beck wanted to see the new 600 RR which in the blue black and white is very sweet (a similar looking Blade for 2010 would be awesome ) although not sure about the Black and lime Green 600RR .
The V4 concept bike is a strange looking beast could we be looking at a line of Blades looking like that at future meets .

Something I thought I would never here myself say is gorgeous and BMW in the same sentence but it is true of the new S1000R (see for yourself ) which will be ridden by Troy Corser and Ruben Xaus in next years WSB.

Hope they have got plenty of fairing panels in reserve eh? (lol)

Then after spending way to much money (as you do) we made our way home. An excellent day was had by all, and an end to the EAH British Tour 2008.

(Editor's note: EAH stands for East Anglian Hardcore which is the fun group name for the most prolific of the UK rideout area teams. Want to join them for 2009? get along to the forum where rb900r is ready to add you to the list....)
