CBR Firebladers are very pleased to announce that we have decided to concentrate all our charity fund raising to a single cause, namely: n nRiders for Health charity number 1054565 Riders are working to make sure all health workers in Africa have access to reliable transportation so they can reach the most isolated and vulnerable people. By ensuring health workers have access to vehicles that never break down Riders for Health is making sure millions of people across Africa receive regular, reliable health care, often for the first time in their lives. We are very proud to be associated with such an excellent cause, and especially as it's great work in the poorest regions of Africa are also associated with motorcycling. We will have various fund-raising initiatives throughout the year in aid of Riders for Health, and a contribution will be made to the charity from every piece of club merchandise we sell from now on. 100% of all proceeds raised under any charity sponsorship, merchandise sale, or other event will be sent to the charity, and CBR Firebladers pledge not to deduct a single penny for our administration. The first major initiative is the Donington Bladeday2 rideout on 23 May, and we are inviting individuals and groups attending the event to raise much needed funds for our chosen charity by getting sponsored at a few pence per mile depending upon the distances you will be travelling. There are no rules, other than you must complete the fundraising form below, and submit the collected funds and completed sponsorship forms to Nic as soon after the event as possible. Nic will co-ordinate our collective efforts and send a cheque to the charity on behalf of the club. I will make sure the cheque is posted up here for you all to see how much was donated. Lets do our bit in aid of Riders and show that motorcyclists are decent folk too? Fundraising Pack link
