A write-up by Area Co-Ordinator and club committee member Ellie. The first of the East Midlands get together's started with Ant & his wife Heidi (pillion) & me arranging to meet at McDonalds in Newark with the intention of just blatting down the A1 to meet Chevygirluk & Marc just outside Stamford. A surprise showing of Devilchild changed all that & he lead the way on some lovely roads to the next meeting point before saying his hello's & goodbye's as he the had to gun it home to get the car then go & pick his wife up from East Midlands airport (no rest for the wicked) LOL. After lots more chit chat Marc took the lead & we set off to who knows where but he did a damned fine job from taking us on great roads through lovely villages to his choice of pub for a much appreciated late lunch. Big up for the Spreadeagle at Corby. We had another bimble about after lunch before setting off in our respective directions to take us home.... Me with a big smile on my face! .... Not sure if it was from my little 400 (Blade was poorly) or the day spent in such great company or maybe perhaps the lunch time conversations!!! So if you fancy a bit of the ladies that do lunch, why not join us, keep your eye on the East Midlands rideout section on the forum. (for more rideout stuff - click here)
